We're hiring a Forward Deployed AI Engineer at 5ahead.
We're a small team building AI products for the ELA Container group's roughly 1,600 employees:
• AI assistants that answer from company knowledge, in many languages
• Voice-to-voice agents that hold real conversations
• Document and decision-support tools built on LLMs
• Agents that take repetitive work off people's desks
This role is for someone who wants to be close to the users. You'll sit with sales, HR or engineering, work out what would actually help, build it and keep it running in production. There's no big team to hand things off to, so you'll lean on AI coding tools a lot, and you'll have a real say in what we build next.
What we're looking for:
• 4+ years in software engineering, at least 1 of them shipping LLM apps to production
• Strong Python, plus hands-on RAG, agents and evaluation
• Azure, or Kubernetes / private cloud experience you can carry over
• CI/CD, monitoring and infrastructure as code
• German or Dutch is a plus
