WE’RE HIRING | EXPORT MANAGER
Pillar Global Trading QFZ LLC, an international trading company based in Doha, Qatar, is looking for an experienced Export Manager to develop new business, negotiate international deals and manage export logistics.
This role combines commercial development with operational responsibility, from identifying opportunities to ensuring successful delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Development: Identify and acquire new customers, open new international markets and build lasting relationships with buyers and distributors. Develop a qualified sales pipeline and convert opportunities into profitable business.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with customers, suppliers and logistics partners on pricing, payment terms, delivery conditions and contracts, protecting profitability and managing commercial risks.
- Logistics: Coordinate export operations from order confirmation to delivery, including freight, shipping documentation, customs clearance and cargo insurance. Monitor costs and timelines, and resolve shipment issues with the relevant partners.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in export management, international trade or international business development.
- A proven track record of acquiring customers, entering new markets and closing international sales.
- Strong negotiation skills and sound commercial judgment.
- Practical knowledge of international logistics, Incoterms, export documentation and international payment methods, including letters of credit.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken. French proficiency is a significant advantage.
- Strong organization, initiative and the ability to manage the full commercial cycle independently.
- Experience in building materials, industrial raw materials or commodity trading would be an advantage.
