*Job Description:*Parsons is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong Linux systems administration and networking expertise. The DBA will support and maintain database systems hosted on Linux-based servers across both physical and virtual environments. This role includes ensuring database performance, reliability, and security while supporting the underlying Linux and network infrastructure required for distributed data operations.
The ideal candidate will conduct daily database and system health checks, optimize performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, coordinate upgrades, and collaborate with security personnel to maintain compliance. The ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and operate with minimal supervision is essential.
*What You’ll Be Doing:*
- Perform daily maintenance and health checks for Linux-hosted database environments
- Diagnose and resolve database, Linux system, and infrastructure issues in networked environments
- Monitor and optimize both database and system performance using established tools
- Plan and coordinate database upgrades, migrations, and scheduled system outages
- Support network monitoring and maintain connectivity essential for database operations
- Install and maintain server, storage, and networking equipment in datacenter environments
- Document database architecture, configuration changes, and infrastructure updates
- Work with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to maintain system authorization and compliance
- Support occasional after-hours maintenance windows for critical database or system updates
*Required Qualifications:** Current TS/SCI clearance with Poly
* Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline and 8+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree
* Experience administering Linux operating systems in support of enterprise applications or database workloads
* Experience supporting virtual environments and deploying Linux-based services used by databases
* Experience with Cisco network devices, including networking fundamentals essential to database connectivity
* Strong understanding of core networking technologies (TCP/IP, UDP, firewall concepts) as they relate to secure and reliable database operations
*Desired Qualifications:** Familiarity with modern data workflow tools such as NiFi
* Experience with virtualization or container technologies (e.g., Docker) used to host database services
* Familiarity with ELK or similar monitoring and logging stacks
* Understanding of enterprise network services supporting authentication, logging, and distributed access control
* Experience with automation tools such as Salt, Ansible, or Puppet
* Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira)
* Background in network security, intrusion detection, and server/database monitoring
* Experience installing or maintaining server and networking equipment in rack-mounted environments
*Security Clearance Requirement:*An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

*Job Description:Parsons are looking for an exceptionally talented Security Director - Saudi National* to join their team! In this senior leadership role you be responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of all security and safety activities supporting logistics operations for a delivery partner structure.
Leveraging a minimum of 17 years of international experience in security, safety, and administration, this role safeguards people, assets and facilities.
The position combines deep expertise in security risk management within urban environments, complex operational settings, and comprehensive administrative oversight. It works closely with internal leadership, stakeholders/clients, architects, planners, and government authorities to discreetly embed security into operations and designs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational efficiency and profitability.
What You'll Be Doing;
- Develop and execute a comprehensive logistics security and safety strategy aligned with business objectives and stakeholder/client requirements.
- Lead strategic planning for security, safety, and administration, integrating risk management, mobility, and transportation logistics considerations.
- Establish and continuously refine security and safety frameworks, policies, and procedures across all logistics facilities and operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging critical thinking and data‑driven analysis to enhance performance and reduce incidents.
- Conduct security risk assessments with a specific focus on urban and complex environments.
- Develop and oversee mitigation plans, including prevention strategies through environmental design and integration of security requirements into engineering and urban planning.
- Collaborate with architects, planners, and engineering teams to discretely embed security solutions into new developments, facilities, and mobility/transport systems.

- Implement innovative security technologies, control center operations, and incident management platforms to support logistics operations.
- Ensure security design supports community safety, mobility efficiency, and client expectations.
- Develop secure route plans and transport security protocols, including risk mapping, driver procedures, and vehicle security standards.
- Oversee fleet and mobility‑related security, including checks, seals, GPS tracking, secure stops, and movement control.
- Optimize transportation logistics and mobility solutions to improve efficiency while maintaining top safety and security standards.
- Establish and maintain emergency response and crisis management plans, including scenarios such as hijacking, cargo theft, hazardous materials, bomb threats, civil unrest, and major operational disruptions.
- Lead the response to critical incidents, coordinating with stakeholders/clients, law enforcement, emergency services, and internal teams.
- Ensure comprehensive incident documentation, root‑cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and incorporation of lessons learned.
- Conduct drills and exercises where required.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks ensuring accountability, effective decision‑making, and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and stakeholder/client requirements.
- Oversee administrative functions related to safety and security, including documentation, reporting, internal audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain security and safety organizational structures, closing operational gaps and enhancing team performance.
- Manage department budgets, cost optimization initiatives, and performance metrics to support profitability and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary liaison for safety and security with stakeholders/clients, business partners, and relevant authorities.
- Manage high‑level relationships with government bodies, law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and strategic partners.
- Support account management activities to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and long‑term partnership success.
- Represent the organization in public forums, industry events, and stakeholder meetings as required.
- Select, oversee, and evaluate security service providers, technology vendors, and consultants supporting logistics operations.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements, ensuring high quality, cost‑effectiveness, and alignment with stakeholder/client standards.
- Monitor vendor performance using KPIs and drive corrective actions when necessary.
What You'll Bring;
- Diploma in a related field (Security Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, Business Administration, or a related field).
- Additional studies in Industrial Engineering, security, safety, investigations, and crisis management are highly valued.
- Minimum 17 years of progressive experience in security, safety, and administration across multinational and complex environments.
- Demonstrated success at senior‑level roles (e.g., Executive Director of Safety and Security, Corporate Security and Safety Director,)
- Proven track record establishing and mobilizing new safety and security departments and frameworks in large, complex organizations.
- Significant experience managing large‑scale operations, including engineering / construction environments (essential) and/or multi‑site security contracts.
- Experience working closely with government entities, including Ministries, security services, and regulatory authorities, and managing critical and confidential assignments.
