Accelerec is specialized in recruitment, we seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets and ensuring the integrity of our information systems. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses across various platforms.
- Develop and execute incident response plans, investigate security breaches, and perform digital forensics to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM tools, analyze threat intelligence, and implement proactive measures to mitigate emerging threats.
- Ensure robust cloud security practices and endpoint security solutions are in place, protecting sensitive data and systems.
- Manage and configure security technologies, troubleshoot security issues, and provide technical guidance to other IT teams.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and contribute to security policy development and enforcement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in Network Security, Incident Response, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, Threat Intelligence, SIEM, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, and Cryptography.
- Proficiency in Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, and Digital Forensics.
- Strong understanding of Risk Management principles.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Excellent Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills.
- Strong Communication and Attention to Detail.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
- Experience with advanced security tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and compliance frameworks relevant to Saudi Arabia.
