Emerald Zebra on behalf of our client, a regulated multi-asset CFD broker, is looking to hire a Chief Growth Officer, to be based in Dubai, UAE. Reporting to the CEO, this is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the retail sales business across MENA, Asia, LATAM and other emerging markets.
The company
Our client is a regulated multi-asset CFD broker offering professional grade execution to Professional retail and Institutional clients globally. Clients trade Forex, Indices, Commodities, Shares, ETFs, Crypto, Futures and Options through MetaTrader 5, institutional grade third party platforms and a proprietary trading terminal, supported by STP and aggregation order routing, segregated client funds and a native copy trading offering. The business is scaling rapidly across MENA, Asia and emerging markets.
The role
As Chief Growth Officer, you will define and execute the commercial strategy for the retail and institutional trading business and lead a multi-desk, multi-language sales organisation responsible for client acquisition, conversion, retention and revenue growth across the Professional trader segment. You will own sales performance, team management, budgeting, commission design and strategic planning, working closely with Marketing, Onboarding, Compliance, Dealing, Product and the Institutional team to turn execution quality into measurable funded account and trading volume growth.
Sales strategy and revenue ownership
- Own the retail sales strategy, forecasting model and full P&L for funded accounts, deposits and trading volume revenue across all trading platforms
- Set, cascade and deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets across regional desks in MENA, Asia, LATAM and other emerging markets
- Drive pipeline quality, lead to funded conversion, average deposit, and retention and reactivation metrics across the full client lifecycle
- Lead negotiations and personally support the closing of high value Professional and VIP accounts
- Build the commercial case for entering new markets, launching new account tiers and expanding the multi-asset CFD product set
Team leadership and development
- Build, lead and scale a multi-language retail sales organisation of Sales Managers, Senior Account Managers, Business Development Managers and Retention and Dealing Desk specialists
- Set clear KPIs, performance standards and career progression paths across the sales floor
- Coach and mentor the team, run structured pipeline reviews, and uplift negotiation, product and platform demo capability
- Design and refine the commission, bonus and appraisal structure so individual incentives align with quality revenue, retention and compliance outcomes
- Recruit against growth plans, with a strong bias for multilingual talent in English, Arabic and regional languages
Client relationships and VIP management
- Own and grow relationships with key Professional and VIP clients, IBs, affiliates and high net worth traders
- Personally support Senior Account Managers on complex, strategic or sensitive cases
- Prepare tailored proposals, fee structures and execution quality reports based on client trading behaviour, asset preferences and platform usage
- Represent the business at industry events, expos, partner roadshows and client forums across the regional hubs
Working across the business
- Partner with Marketing on acquisition campaigns, lead quality scoring and conversion funnel optimisation
- Work with Onboarding, KYC and Compliance to deliver smooth, regulator grade client journeys across current and future licensing jurisdictions
- Feed platform insight to Product and Technology and prioritise enhancements that move sales metrics
- Align with the Institutional team on the hand off of clients who graduate from Professional to Institutional offerings
Operations, reporting and governance
- Oversee CRM discipline, sales operations and end to end reporting on activity, pipeline, conversion and revenue
- Provide structured market, client and competitor insight to the executive team
- Ensure all sales activity meets regulatory requirements, internal compliance standards, the order execution policy and risk disclosure obligations
- Manage the sales cost base, including headcount, commissions, travel and events, within agreed budgets
What you bring
- 8+ years of sales experience in online brokerage, CFDs, FX, multi-asset trading or financial services, with material exposure to retail and Professional trader segments
- 4+ years leading sales teams of 10+ people, ideally across multiple regional desks in MENA, Asia or LATAM
- A demonstrable track record of delivering revenue, funded account and deposit targets in a regulated brokerage environment
- Hands on experience scaling a sales floor through hyper growth, including hiring, onboarding and ramping multilingual sales talent
- In depth knowledge of CFDs, leverage, margin and the OTC derivatives landscape across Forex, Indices, Commodities, Shares, ETFs, Crypto, Futures and Options
- Strong working knowledge of MetaTrader 5 and professional trading terminals, with the credibility to demo execution quality, charting and automation features
- Understanding of execution quality concepts including STP and aggregation, latency and slippage, and copy trading mechanics, and how they translate into a sales narrative
- A solid grasp of regulatory expectations around retail CFD distribution, including risk disclosure and appropriateness
- Strong commercial leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and comfort owning forecasts, conversion funnels, cohort retention and unit economics
- Fluent English is required. Fluent Arabic is strongly preferred, and Mandarin, Hindi, Spanish or Russian are an advantage
Proven success building and managing IB, affiliate and partner channels is a strong plus.
You will be proactive, confident and results driven, able to keep teams calm and focused in volatile markets, and equally at home closing a VIP on the sales floor and defending a quarterly plan in the boardroom.
What is on offer
- Salary up to USD 200,000 per annum, plus a quarterly performance based commission and bonus scheme tied to revenue and growth milestones
- Premium family medical insurance
- Annual return tickets to home country for the employee and immediate family, where applicable
- 25 working days annual leave plus public holidays
