Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at MC CAFFE in Doha, Qatar. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, teas, and other café drinks according to established recipes and quality standards. Daily tasks include operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation for light snacks or pastries, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and restocking supplies. The role involves greeting guests, taking and processing orders, handling payments, and providing responsive customer service. The Barista will work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations, uphold hygiene and safety standards, and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage positively with guests and colleagues.
* Candidates should possess Barista skills, including beverage preparation, espresso machine operation, and basic coffee knowledge.
* Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and supervisors.
* Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills, following hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
* Candidates should ideally have previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
* Candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and manage a fast-paced service setting.
* Candidates with basic cash-handling skills and familiarity with POS systems are preferred.
* Candidates with proficiency in English (and additional languages) will be an advantage.
