Job Summary
We are looking for a Barista who will work courteously and professionally. Prepare specialty food and beverage items and ensure timely, efficient service. Able to work fast and efficiently, yet maintain composure under pressure.
Requirements:
- Professional and neat appearance.
- Excellent communication skills and a courteous, polite manner.
- Strong, verifiable experience of no less than 2 years as a Barista (excluding server or busboy/teaboy experience; strictly barista experience only).
- Team player; always open to helping colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
- Valid and transferable Iqama.
Mastery of the following skills:
- Espresso Extraction: Adjusting grind size, dose, and pressure to achieve the optimal flavor profile.
- Milk Steaming: Achieving the ideal velvety texture and applying Latte Art.
- Pour-Over Coffee: Familiarity with manual brewing and filtration methods such as V60 and Chemex.
- Equipment Maintenance: Continuous cleaning and maintenance of the espresso machine and grinder to ensure flavor quality and longevity of the equipment.
