Role Description This full-time Auto Electrician role is an on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The Auto Electrician will diagnose and repair electrical issues in a variety of vehicles, including wiring, lighting, ignition, charging, and electronic control systems. Daily tasks include conducting electrical inspections, performing preventive maintenance, replacing faulty components, and ensuring all work complies with safety and manufacturer guidelines. The role involves using diagnostic tools, reading electrical diagrams, documenting work performed, and coordinating with supervisors and other technicians to meet service deadlines. The Auto Electrician is expected to maintain a clean and organized work area and support continuous improvement in workshop processes.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for automotive systems.
* Candidates should possess solid capabilities in Fault Finding and Electrical Repairs for a range of vehicle electrical components.
* Candidates should possess a sound understanding of Electricity principles and safe work practices in automotive environments.
* Technical diploma, trade certificate, or relevant vocational qualification in auto electrics or automotive technology is preferred.
* Experience working as an Auto Electrician or in a similar automotive electrical role, ideally in a workshop or fleet environment.
* Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation.
* Familiarity with diagnostic scanners, multimeters, and other electrical testing tools.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team and follow established procedures and schedules.
* Basic communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
