Position Overview
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Structural Engineering Lead / Building Inspection Manager to support structural engineering, building inspections, technical assessments, and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- * Support building inspections, site assessments, and structural checks.
- Review basic structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Identify visible structural defects, construction issues, and maintenance concerns.
- Prepare inspection notes, reports, photos, and technical records.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and site teams.
- Assist with structural repair, maintenance, renovation, and improvement works.
- Monitor inspection schedules, testing activities, and corrective actions.
- Support site visits and follow up on technical issues.
- Ensure inspection activities follow project and safety requirements.
- Assist with technical documentation and project handover.
Requirements
- * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Some experience in structural engineering, building inspection, site engineering, construction, or a related role.
- Basic knowledge of structural systems, building defects, construction methods, and site inspection.
- Able to read and understand basic engineering drawings.
- Familiar with AutoCAD or basic engineering software is an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to conduct site visits and work with contractors and project teams.
- Professional Engineer certification or relevant inspection experience is an advantage, but not required.
