- Role Description The Captain Waiter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Provide professional and efficient dine-in table service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and coordinate with kitchen and bar teams.
- Supervise and support waiters to ensure smooth service operations.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and timely clearing.
- Handle guest requests and service concerns professionally.
- Maintain menu knowledge and provide accurate recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and service standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage effectively with guests and support the service team.
- Candidates should possess solid Food & Beverage and Food Service knowledge to oversee menu delivery, serving standards, and dining operations.
- Candidates should possess basic Cooking and food preparation awareness to coordinate efficiently with the kitchen and understand menu items.
- Candidates should possess leadership and team supervision abilities, with experience training and guiding waiting staff.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management skills, especially in high-volume restaurant environments.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior waiting role in hospitality or restaurants is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional languages, such as Arabic, are an advantage.
