Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Tester role based in Amman. The Software Tester is responsible for planning and executing tests to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of digital systems, ERP platforms, and enterprise applications. Daily tasks include reviewing requirements, designing and documenting test cases, executing manual and automated tests, logging defects, and verifying fixes. The role involves close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and ensure that delivered software meets quality standards. The Software Tester also contributes to continuous improvement of testing processes and supports regression testing across releases.
Qualifications
- * Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, including understanding of testing lifecycle and methodologies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and working with well-defined Test Cases to validate system behavior.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and troubleshoot complex defects.
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with ERP or enterprise application testing is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, or scripting for test data preparation and validation is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document clear test results and defect reports.
- Ability to work on-site in Amman, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and manage time effectively across multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
