Role Description The Senior Planning Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, responsible for leading planning and scheduling activities across projects. This role includes developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and preparing regular planning and progress reports for stakeholders. The Senior Planning Engineer coordinates with project managers and site teams to analyze performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track. Daily tasks involve managing project control tools, optimizing resource allocation, and supporting production planning to meet deadlines and quality standards. The role also requires frequent communication with internal and external partners to ensure alignment with project objectives and ECB’s consultancy practices.
Qualifications
- * Candidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills to develop, update, and optimize project schedules.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret project data, assess risks, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Project Control skills to monitor performance, track progress, and implement corrective actions.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil, architectural, or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling within engineering, construction, or consultancy environments, preferably in Egypt or the MENA region.
- Proficiency with planning and project control software (such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel).
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and commitment to quality standards such as ISO 9001:2015.
