About The RoleThe Senior HR Operations Officer is responsible for managing and executing day-to-day HR operational activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance throughout the employee lifecycle. The role supports payroll administration, employee relations, HR systems, benefits, and regulatory requirements while contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong operational expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive employee information while ensuring HR services are delivered professionally and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- * Manage daily HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, employment contracts, and personnel documentation.
- Prepare and process employee letters, certificates, contract amendments, and final settlements in accordance with internal policies and applicable labor laws.
- Coordinate monthly payroll preparation and validation, ensuring accurate salary calculations, deductions, allowances, and employee-related adjustments.
- Monitor employee attendance, leaves, overtime, and other payroll-related records, resolving discrepancies in coordination with relevant departments.
- Administer employee benefits programs and coordinate with service providers to ensure timely delivery and resolution of employee inquiries.
- Manage Social Security processes, including employee registration, deregistration, contribution calculations, submissions, and reporting.
- Coordinate Social Security claims related to maternity leave, sick leave, and work injuries, ensuring complete documentation and timely follow-up.
- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable labor laws, Social Security regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update HRMS data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of employee information.
- Generate HR reports and support workforce data analysis, payroll reporting, headcount tracking, and other operational reporting requirements.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, attendance, and personnel procedures.
- Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall employee experience.
- Collaborate with Finance, Administration, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and accurate HR operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5–6 years of experience in HR Operations or a similar HR role.
- Professional HR certifications, such as PHRI, SPHR, or equivalent, are preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of payroll administration, employee lifecycle management, and HR operational practices.
- Good understanding of Jordanian labor law and Social Security regulations.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms, employee databases, and HR reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
