Role Description The Accounting Receivable – Real Estate role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo. The role involves managing accounts receivable for real estate projects, including recording and reconciling customer invoices, monitoring payment schedules, and following up on outstanding balances. The position includes preparing periodic reports and financial summaries related to receivables, ensuring accurate journal entries, and maintaining up-to-date customer ledgers in the accounting system. The role also supports project management teams by providing financial data for decision-making, assisting with budget tracking, and coordinating with internal departments and clients to resolve billing or payment discrepancies. Adherence to company policies, financial controls, and local regulations is expected in all daily activities.
Qualifications
* Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to interpret and report on accounts receivable and project-related data.
* Proficiency in Accounting Software and accurate handling of Journal Entries (Accounting) for real estate transactions and project accounts.
* Well-developed Analytical Skills to review receivable aging, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
* Previous experience in accounts receivable, preferably within real estate or project-based environments.
* Attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and ability to work with deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
* Good communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with project managers, clients, and internal teams.
* Knowledge of local tax and financial regulations relevant to real estate and receivables is an advantage.
