Role Description The Salesperson for Tea Boutique at Al-Tuhoo General Trading & Contracting Co. is a full-time, on-site position based in Shuwaikh. This role involves welcoming customers to the boutique, understanding their preferences, and recommending suitable tea products and accessories. The Salesperson will handle product demonstrations and tastings, provide detailed information about tea origins and blends, and ensure that shelves and displays are well-stocked and visually appealing. Daily tasks include processing sales transactions, managing cash and point-of-sale systems, maintaining cleanliness and order in the boutique, and assisting with inventory counts and stock rotation. The role also includes supporting promotional activities, collecting customer feedback, and collaborating with the team to meet sales targets and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage courteously and professionally with diverse customers.
* Sales and retail experience, including product recommendation, upselling, and handling point-of-sale systems.
* Interest in and basic knowledge of tea or specialty beverages, with willingness to learn about different tea types, origins, and brewing methods.
* Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic or additional languages is an advantage.
* Ability to work on-site in Shuwaikh, standing for extended periods, and managing a fast-paced boutique environment.
* Basic numeracy and accuracy for cash handling, billing, and stock management.
* Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a proactive approach to meeting individual and store sales goals.
* Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or specialty retail is preferred but not mandatory.
