We are currently partnering with a reputable international bank in Abu Dhabi to recruit a Relationship Manager for its Corporate Banking team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin and English, with experience in corporate banking, client relationship management, and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients, particularly Chinese-speaking clients and businesses.
- Identify new business opportunities and support corporate portfolio growth.
- Assist with client onboarding, KYC, account opening, annual credit reviews, and credit limit assessments.
- Prepare credit proposals and support corporate financing and relationship management activities.
- Understand clients’ business needs and provide appropriate banking solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and banking procedures.
- Conduct market research and identify opportunities to expand the bank’s corporate client base.
- Support post-sales activities, including covenant monitoring, documentation, and annual reviews.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Investment Banking and other business units, to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 year of experience in Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, or a similar role within a financial institution.
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
- Good understanding of corporate banking products, credit analysis, KYC, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong client relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
- Experience dealing with Chinese corporate clients or cross-border business is an advantage.
- Professional banking or finance certifications are an advantage.
