Location: Morocco (Casablanca / Tangier preferred)
Position Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Head of Global Sales / VP of International Business
About Us
Avantex Solutions is a leading provider of innovative Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions tailored specifically for the global apparel, fashion, and textile manufacturing industries. Our mission is to empower garment factories and textile mills to optimize production, streamline supply chains, and enhance profitability. As part of our strategic expansion into the African continent, we are seeking a dynamic, self-driven Regional Territory Sales Executive / Manager based in Morocco to spearhead our business development across Africa.
Position Summary
We are looking for a high-performing Sales professional with a proven track record in B2B enterprise software sales (ERP, PLM, Supply Chain, or MES) selling to fashion, apparel, and textile manufacturers, and at least 3 years of operational experience within an apparel/textile manufacturing facility, with a strong aptitude for technology. Based in Morocco, you will be the pioneering force responsible for driving new business acquisition, building strategic relationships with factory decision-makers, and expanding our market footprint across North, West, East, and Southern Africa.
Note: Our ERP system features multi-language capabilities and fully supports French localizations, giving you a powerful competitive edge in Francophone Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Formulate and execute sales strategies to penetrate the apparel and textile manufacturing sectors across Morocco and the broader African continent (e.g., Tunisia, Egypt, Kenya, Ethiopia).
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Identify, approach, and cultivate relationships with factory owners, CEOs, COOs, and IT Directors (Hunter mindset).
- Consultative Selling: Conduct deep discovery sessions to understand factories' operational pain points (e.g., inventory chaos, production scheduling delays, inaccurate costing) and present our ERP as the strategic solution.
- Product Demonstrations: Deliver high-impact product presentations and live software demos (supported by our technical pre-sales team when needed).
- Deal Closure: Manage the entire complex B2B sales cycle from initial contact, proposal preparation, and price negotiation to contract signing.
- Localization Collaboration: Work closely with the global product team to ensure the French-localized version of the ERP aligns perfectly with regional industry terminology and client expectations.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor regional industry trends, competitor activities, and free trade agreements (e.g., AfCFTA, AGOA) to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements & Qualifications
-
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience in Enterprise Software (ERP, PLM, Supply Chain, or MES) selling to fashion, apparel, and textile manufacturers, and 3+ years of operational experience within an apparel/textile manufacturing facility, with a strong aptitude for technology.
-
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of garment production processes, CMT (Cut, Make, Trim) models, fabric inventory, and fashion supply chain workflows.
- Network: An existing network of contacts among apparel exporters, textile mills, or industry associations (e.g., AMITH in Morocco) is highly preferred.
- Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Morocco and other African textile hubs as required.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, structured, and capable of working autonomously as a "one-man show" in the region initially.
Language Proficiency:
- French: Native or bilingual proficiency (essential for Morocco and Francophone Africa).
- English: Fluent/Business level (essential for reporting to HQ and exploring East/Southern Africa).
- Arabic (Darija): Native or fluent (essential for local Moroccan factory relations).
- Mandarin is a plus
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary with an attractive, uncapped commission structure based on sales performance.
- Opportunity to lead and shape the company’s expansion in one of the fastest-growing textile manufacturing regions in the world.
- Robust remote support from global technical pre-sales and implementation teams.
- Flexible working environment with a focus on results.
To Apply: Please submit your CV in English only, along with a brief cover letter outlining your experience in the textile and/or enterprise software industry. CVs submitted in other languages will not be considered.
