Location: Pender County, NC
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
Are You Qualified?Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field.
- Two (2) years of post-bachelor’s experience working with a mental health population.
- Meets North Carolina requirements under 10A NCAC 27G.0104 for a Mental Health Qualified Professional (QP). Two (2) years of documented experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
What You’ll DoApplicants must meet all required education and experience qualifications.
- * Provide individual and group therapeutic and skill-building interventions in school and community settings.
- Support behavioral functioning, coping skills, social skills, and educational success.
- Develop and implement Person-Centered Plans.
- Facilitate Child and Family Team meetings.
- Collaborate with families, schools, treatment providers, and community partners.
- Provide psychoeducation related to mental health and substance use.
- Monitor client progress and coordinate transitions to appropriate services.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Perform approved physical restraints when clinically necessary and in accordance with required training and organizational policy.
