Role Description The Player role at topacademy.iq is a full-time, on-site position based in Erbil. The Player will participate in daily training sessions, follow coaching instructions, and actively contribute to team practices and scheduled activities. Responsibilities include attending all sessions on time, maintaining physical and mental readiness, practicing drills and strategies, and collaborating with coaches and other players to improve performance. The Player is expected to uphold academy standards, demonstrate respect and sportsmanship, and support a positive, safe, and inclusive environment. Additional duties may include participating in internal events, assessments, and development programs as required by the academy.
Qualifications
* Strong commitment to regular training, discipline, and continuous skill improvement.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment, follow guidance, and communicate clearly with coaches and peers.
* Good physical fitness, stamina, and overall health suitable for intensive practice and activities.
* Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and respect for academy rules, safety guidelines, and codes of conduct.
* Motivation to learn, accept feedback, and develop both technical and tactical abilities in a structured program.
* Previous experience in organized training, sports, or performance programs is an advantage but not mandatory.
* Willingness to be based on-site in Erbil and participate in academy events, evaluations, and meetings.
