*Purpose of the Role*To inspect and ensure that piping fabrication, welding, repairs, and tie?in activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and project quality requirements for offshore installations.
*Key Responsibilities*Inspection & Quality Control*** Perform inspection of piping root pass, tie?in welds, repairs, and fabrication activities at the yard. * Verify compliance with approved drawings (IFD/IFR/ISO), WPS, ITP, QCP, and project specifications. * Witness and monitor fit?up, alignment, joint preparation, welding parameters, and consumable control. * Ensure RTR welds are correctly identified, recorded, and traceable.
*Welding & NDT Coordination** Check welder qualifications (WPQ) and ensure validity for applicable weld processes. * Ensure welding is carried out as per approved WPS/PQR. * Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) for RTR welds. * Review and accept NDT reports and ensure proper closure of NCRs.
