Role Description The Logistics Analyst role is a part-time hybrid position based in Manama, with a mix of on-site work and the option to work from home for selected activities. In this role, the professional monitors logistics performance indicators, analyzes distribution efficiency, and supports improvements in inventory management and order fulfillment. Daily tasks include collecting and interpreting operational data, preparing reports and dashboards, and collaborating with warehouse and transportation teams to optimize routes, stock levels, and service standards. The Logistics Analyst also helps address logistics-related customer issues, supports process documentation, and contributes to the implementation of best practices aligned with Distac’s strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and propose actionable improvements.
- Experience with defining, tracking, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and distribution.
- Knowledge of inventory control and inventory management processes, including stock optimization and accuracy monitoring.
- Customer service skills to support internal and external stakeholders, addressing logistics inquiries and service issues professionally.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and data visualization software; familiarity with logistics or WMS systems is a plus.
- Relevant academic background in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; ongoing studies are acceptable for part-time arrangements.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in distribution, warehousing, or supply chain operations is preferred but not strictly required.
