Venture Capital Associate / Senior Associate | Technology Investing
Our client, an established venture capital investor backing technology businesses, is interested in connecting with high-calibre Associates and Senior Associates for potential opportunities within its investment team. We are particularly interested in candidates from leading VC funds who combine strong investment judgement with transaction experience and the ability to build meaningful relationships with founders.
The Role
- Identify and assess investment opportunities through proactive sourcing, market mapping and founder engagement
- Evaluate business models, competitive positioning, customer traction and scalability
- Build and analyse financial models, valuations, ownership scenarios and investment returns
- Coordinate commercial, financial and technical due diligence alongside senior investors and external specialists
- Prepare investment memos and present clear, evidence-based recommendations
- Support transaction execution, including term-sheet analysis and investment documentation
- Work with portfolio companies on strategic priorities, performance monitoring and follow-on funding
Your Profile
- Direct investment experience at a leading venture capital fund, with responsibilities comparable to Associate or Senior Associate level
- Demonstrable involvement in technology investments, with a clear understanding of your contribution to sourcing, diligence and execution
- Strong analytical skills, including financial modelling, valuation and assessment of business models and unit economics
- Ability to develop independent investment views and assess both commercial potential and downside risks
- Exposure to B2B software, climate technology, energy technology or industrial innovation would be an advantage
- Strong relationships within the founder and investor community, alongside a proactive approach to sourcing
- Excellent communication skills, intellectual curiosity and a strong sense of ownership
