We are seeking an Interior / Landscape Designer to produce interior fit-out and landscape design output for our Engineering & Consulting department.
The role covers space planning, finishes, and visualisation for offices, showrooms, and staff facilities, as well as landscape and hardscape design for facility grounds and residential compounds in a hot, arid coastal climate. Designs must be practical to build and maintain with the company's own trade workforce, so the role works closely with engineers and drafters to keep concepts buildable, specified, and cost-aware.
Key Accountabilities
Interior Fit-Out Design Prepare space plans, furniture layouts, and reflected ceiling plans for offices, showrooms, and staff facilities. Develop finishes schedules, material boards, and specifications suitable for procurement. Produce 3D visualisations and renders for internal client review and approval. Coordinate lighting, power, and HVAC positions with the MEP Engineer and electrical drafter.
Landscape & Hardscape Design Prepare landscape and hardscape layouts for facility grounds, entrances, and residential compounds. Select planting palettes suited to high heat, low water, and saline conditions. Coordinate irrigation layouts, drainage, and external lighting with the engineering team. Prepare paving, shading, and external furniture details.
Buildability & Specification Develop designs that can be built and maintained with standard materials and the company's in-house trades. Provide quantities and specification inputs to support budgeting and procurement. Respond to site queries during execution and update designs where required.
Delivery & Communication Confirm scope, priority, and deadline before starting each assignment. Report progress at the agreed frequency and flag delays early. Be available during the agreed overlap with Saudi working hours. Incorporate review comments promptly and confirm closure of each comment.
Other Perform any other duties reasonably required by the Head of Engineering that are consistent with the scope of this role.
Competencies
