Job Objective
The site supervisor will oversee the electromechanical work, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines. This role involves managing mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Technical Supervision
- Supervise plumbing, HVAC, and electrical works from installation to commissioning.
- Review plans and specifications prior to execution, addressing any discrepancies or observations.
- Coordinate with electrical and civil engineers to avoid conflicts between works.
- Receive works and conduct tests: pressure tests, leak tests, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
Team and Site Management
- Distribute daily tasks to foremen and monitor progress.
- Follow up with subcontractors in their specialty.
- Implement safety regulations on site.
Materials and Costs Early. Or for Suppliers
- Quantify materials and submit requests to procurement staff.
- Inspect materials upon receipt and verify compliance with specifications.
- Assist in pricing electromechanical works for bids.
Reporting
- Daily site report (progress, labor, observations) with photos.
- Document testing, acceptance, and additional works.
- Direct interaction with the client or their consultants on technical matters on site.
- Assist in operational and maintenance visits as needed.
Skills
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of field experience in contracting, preferably in finishing and renovation.
- Valid driving license.
- For non-Saudis: Transferable residency.
- Ability to start immediately.
Skills
- Reading mechanical and plumbing drawings and quantity take-offs.
- Knowledge of Saudi building code in mechanical and plumbing works.
- Advance planning of materials and team before work commencement.
- Using task assignment and ticketing applications for fieldwork and team management.
- Using basic work software: email, Excel, and AutoCAD.
- Leading a field team and resolving issues promptly.
- Good communication in Arabic, English is a plus.
