Position: Scientific Coding Expert - Chemistry
Type: Contractor Assignment
Compensation: $30/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 40 hours/week, with at least 4 hours overlap during PST business hours
Role Responsibilities
- Write rigorous scientific problem specifications consisting of one main problem and a minimum of 3 logically connected sub-problems.
- Implement verified golden solutions in Python with complete unit test coverage.
- Design discriminative test cases that clearly differentiate correct from incorrect model outputs.
- Run QC validation checks and iterate on tasks based on quality feedback to meet scientific and coding standards.
Requirements
- Master s or PhD in Chemistry with strong Python programming skills and experience in scientific computing.
- Ability to write rigorous, well-posed scientific problems with clear constraints and expected outputs.
- Strong attention to detail with an understanding of scientific correctness, determinism, and test case quality.
- Experience in scientific research, scientific writing, AI data annotation, or related analytical work.
