Role Description The AC Air Conditioning Technician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. This full-time role is on-site in Hamad Town and involves diagnosing system issues, performing troubleshooting, and completing routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance. Daily activities include checking electrical components, refrigerant levels, and plumbing connections; cleaning and replacing filters and coils; and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental guidelines. The technician will interact with customers to explain findings, recommend solutions, and provide accurate documentation of work performed. The role requires adherence to company standards, safe use of tools and equipment, and collaboration with other team members to complete projects on time.
Qualifications
* Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving AC system faults and performance issues.
* Experience with plumbing related to AC systems, including condensate drainage and piping connections.
* Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for air conditioning units, including scheduling and performing routine service.
* Understanding of electricity fundamentals applicable to AC systems, including wiring, circuits, and safe handling of electrical components.
* Familiarity with EPA or equivalent environmental and refrigerant handling guidelines, where applicable.
* Relevant technical diploma or certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or a closely related field.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
* Physical ability to work in various environments, including rooftops and confined spaces, and to lift moderate weights safely.
* Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members, with a professional and respectful approach.
