Masader for Industry & Investment, a biofuel manufacturing Leader in Alexandria, Egypt, is looking for a General Accountant to join our Finance team and own the full accounting cycle, accurately and on time, under the supervision of the Head of Finance.
What you'll do:
Own the full accounting cycle, from document review and journal entries through to trial balance and month-end closing
Record daily journal entries and review supporting documents
Maintain supplier and customer accounts and handle reconciliations
Prepare and follow up on bank reconciliations and the cash journal
Prepare payments and payables according to the approved cycle
File and archive accounting documents per the approved system
Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Sales to collect required documents
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent
2-5 years of experience in general accounting, covering the full accounting cycle, preferably in a manufacturing company
Good command of Excel
Solid understanding of journal entries and document flow
High accuracy and commitment to deadlines
