Soft Services Consultant, based in the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Role Purpose:
Provide governance, performance assurance, and technical oversight for all soft services including cleaning, housekeeping, waste management, pest control, and consumables across assigned portfolio. Ensure services are delivered in compliance with contract scope, SLA/KPI targets, BICSc standards, HSE requirements, environmental regulations, and ESG principles across all facility environments—driving continuous improvement, audit readiness, and client satisfaction.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of soft services operations across diverse environments including clinics, offices (front & back), kitchens, accommodation, water storage areas, chemical stores, warehouses, helipad areas, server rooms, and critical infrastructure.
Good understanding of BICSc standards, local regulation, SLA/KPI frameworks, PMS procedures (inspections, observations, NCRs), and HSE/environmental compliance.
Awareness of ISO standards (ISO 9001 / 41001 / 45001 / 14001) and regulatory requirements related to hygiene, waste disposal, pest control, infection control, and chemical usage in KSA.
Understanding of ESG requirements, sustainability practices, waste reduction, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibility:
- Soft Services Governance & Oversight: Oversee delivery of all soft services (cleaning, pest control, waste management, hospitality, consumables) across all facility environments; ensure compliance with contract scope, service specifications, and quality standards.
- Prepare and review Soft Services contract documents, including scope of work, SLAs/KPIs, specifications, and compliance requirements.
- Multi-Environment Service Assurance: Ensure appropriate cleaning methodologies, pest control measures, and waste handling practices are implemented across: Clinics and medical areas (infection control), Offices (front & back of house), Guest area (BOH & FOH) Kitchens and food handling areas, Accommodation and public areas, Water storage and utility areas, Chemical and hazardous material stores, Helipad and external zones, Server rooms, Technical room and critical environments
- Annual Service Planning: Review and validate annual cleaning plans, deep cleaning schedules, pest control programs, and waste management plans aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.
- SLA/KPI Performance Management: Monitor KPI performance across all soft services; review scorecards, trends, complaints, and service gaps; implement corrective and improvement actions.
- Waste Management Oversight: Ensure segregation, storage, transportation, and disposal of waste (general, hazardous, medical, recyclable) in line with HSE standards and local environmental regulations.
- Pest Control Governance: Review pest control strategies, treatment logs, trend analysis, and contractor performance; ensure safe, compliant, and effective pest prevention and control.
- Consumables & Chemical Management: Monitor usage, storage, and handling of consumables and chemicals; ensure compliance with COSHH/HSE standards and sustainability practices. Monitor stock levels and ensure that adequate supplies are always maintained to meet service requirements.
- Inspections, Audits & PMS: Implement PMS procedures including inspections, observations, NCR issuance, and closure; ensure audit readiness and compliance documentation.
- Contractor Performance Management: Evaluate contractor performance, manpower deployment, supervision, and training compliance across all service areas.
- Compliance & Regulatory Assurance: Ensure compliance with HSE, environmental, infection control, and regulatory requirements applicable to all environments.
- ESG & Sustainability: Support ESG initiatives including waste reduction, recycling programs, sustainable cleaning practices, and environmental performance monitoring.
- Risk Management & Critical Areas Oversight: Ensure high-risk and critical environments (clinics, kitchens, server rooms, chemical storage, helipad) are managed with appropriate risk controls and compliance measures.
- Establish a closed-loop service recovery framework to resolve guest complaints instantly while performing root cause analysis to eliminate recurring service failures.
- To manage and facilitate the project handover process, ensuring a smooth transition of new projects into operational mode.
- NCR & Continuous Improvement: Manage NCRs, complaints, and service failures; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination: Prepare performance reports and dashboards; coordinate with FMC team, contractors, and client representatives for effective communication and action closure.

- NEBOSH / IOSH
