Senior Testing EngineerKey Responsibilities
- Perform primary testing for CT, VT, Circuit Breakers, GIS, and Switchgear.
- Perform secondary testing for protection relays and associated systems.
- Test advanced protection relays such as Distance and Differential relays.
- Test simpler protection relays such as Overcurrent and Earth Fault relays.
- Read, understand, and modify electrical schematics, SLDs, and protection panel drawings.
- Execute testing activities using various test sets from manufacturers such as Megger, Omicron, or equivalent.
- Prepare test reports and support commissioning and field activities.
- Adapt to new products and technologies and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
Required Experience
- * Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Testing Engineer or Senior Testing Engineer.
- Proven experience in Saudi Electricity Company projects and substations.
- Must have Saudi Electricity Company approval.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Electricity Company schematics, standards, and protection panel drawings.
- Experience with products from Schneider, Alstom, ABB, Siemens, Alfanar, and the ability to work on new products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- * Previous work history with Saudi Electricity Company.
- Relevant training courses in testing, protection, commissioning, or substation systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
