Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Engineer role located in Cairo. The Production Engineer will oversee daily dyeing and finishing operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include monitoring production lines, coordinating production schedules, optimizing processes, and addressing technical issues to minimize downtime. The role will collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and planning teams to implement improvements, analyze performance data, and ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications. The Production Engineer will also prepare reports, support root-cause analyses of defects, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering skills, with experience in manufacturing or textile dyeing processes.
* Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret production data, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows.
* Candidates should possess Production Planning capabilities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
* Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to monitor product standards, implement corrective actions, and uphold customer requirements.
* Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear reporting, teamwork, and coordination with operations, maintenance, and management.
* Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
* Knowledge of textile dyeing processes, industrial safety practices, and basic maintenance concepts is beneficial.
* Ability to work on-site in a plant environment, manage multiple tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
