Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, preparing and reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate ledgers. This role includes preparing monthly and annual financial reports, monitoring expenses and revenues, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities for the practice. The Accountant will handle invoicing, payment processing, cash flow tracking, and coordination with external auditors or tax advisors as needed. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies, supporting continuous improvement of financial procedures, and providing clear financial information to leadership for decision-making. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in general accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets; ability to manage digital records and reports efficiently.
* Knowledge of budgeting, expense monitoring, and basic financial analysis to support planning and performance tracking.
* Understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and documentation standards.
* Excellent attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues.
* Ability to work on-site in Giza, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a clinical practice environment.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in healthcare or small business accounting is an advantage.
