Job Summary
Our client, a leading multi-specialty hospital group in Oman, is looking for an experienced Paediatric Neuropsychologist to provide comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessment and intervention for children and adolescents with developmental, behavioural, cognitive, learning, and neurological conditions. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience specifically in Paediatric Neuropsychology and should be able to independently conduct assessments, interpret findings, prepare clinical reports, and provide appropriate recommendations. This is an urgent requirement — and is aiming to close the position within 3–4 days and is prioritizing immediate joiners.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive paediatric psychological and neuropsychological assessments for children and adolescents.
• Assess cognitive, developmental, emotional, behavioural, attention, memory, executive functioning, and learning abilities.
• Assess children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions.
• Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessment tools.
• Prepare detailed and clinically appropriate neuropsychological assessment reports.
• Provide clinical recommendations and individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings.
• Conduct counselling and provide psychological support to children and their parents/caregivers.
• Explain assessment results and recommendations clearly to parents and caregivers.
• Monitor patient progress and update intervention recommendations as required.
• Work closely with paediatricians, neurologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and rehabilitation planning.
• Provide appropriate recommendations for educational and behavioural support when required.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records.
• Follow professional, ethical, and clinical standards in the delivery of psychological services.
Qualifications
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a recognized university.
• Additional specialization, certification, or formal training in Neuropsychology is preferred.
• Valid professional license/registration as a Clinical Psychologist in the relevant jurisdiction.
Mandatory Experience & Skills
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Paediatric Neuropsychology.
• Hands-on Paediatric Neuropsychology experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience in paediatric psychological, developmental, cognitive, behavioural, and neuropsychological assessments.
• Proven experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and neurological conditions.
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized neuropsychological and psychological assessment tools.
• Strong clinical assessment and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and counselling skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary paediatric rehabilitation team.
• Child-friendly approach with strong interpersonal and parent-counselling skills.
