Helm Hospitality is a Cairo-based restaurant group behind Slice & Shake and AJ's American Smashed Burgers. We are growing and need one person to own our finance and procurement operation end to end.
The Role
You will run Helm's accounting and procurement from A to Z, across both brands and our storage facilities. This is a hands-on role with full ownership, reporting directly to the CEO.
What You'll Own
- Full-cycle accounting: bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end close and financial statements
- Procurement: sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, issuing POs and controlling purchase costs
- Storage facilities: stock control, inventory counts, receiving and variance tracking
- Payroll: monthly payroll, social insurance and related deductions
- Invoicing, payables and receivables: supplier invoices, payments and collections
- Tax compliance: VAT, withholding and ETA e-invoicing
- Cost control: food cost, COGS and branch-level P&L reporting
- Cash flow management and regular reporting to management
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce
- 4–6 years of accounting experience in F&B or restaurants (required)
- Solid knowledge of Egyptian tax law, social insurance and e-invoicing
- Hands-on experience with inventory and procurement, not just accounting
- Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting software and restaurant POS systems
- Organized, accurate and comfortable working without heavy supervision
- Good Arabic and English
