Senior Production Engineer | Canal Sugar
Responsible for managing and optimizing production operations in a large-scale sugar manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance while achieving production and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities & Achievements:
●Manage and monitor daily production operations, ensuring achievement of production targets, process stability, product quality, and operational efficiency.
●Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex process and equipment problems to minimize downtime and production losses.
●Monitor and improve key production KPIs including production rate, OEE, efficiency, downtime, yield, losses, and productivity.
●Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Process, Quality, Utilities, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to ensure reliable and continuous plant operation.
●Lead and support shutdown, maintenance, commissioning, start-up, and major modification activities across production areas.
●Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, productivity improvement, cost reduction, waste reduction, and energy efficiency.
●Apply TPM, RCA, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and operational excellence methodologies to improve equipment and process performance.
●Develop and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and KPI dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
●Participate in production planning, resource allocation, manpower optimization, and preparation of operational budgets.
●Provide technical leadership, coaching, and support to production engineers, technicians, and operators.
●Lead multidisciplinary teams during major projects, installations, commissioning, and plant improvement activities.
●Identify opportunities to prevent production losses and improve the reliability, capacity, and overall performance of the manufacturing process.
●Ensure strict compliance with HSE, quality, operational, and company standards.
