Role Description The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo. This position is responsible for leading the mechanical design and engineering of MEP projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project deliverables meet technical and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing and reviewing mechanical drawings and specifications, supervising installation activities, and resolving technical issues on-site. The role also involves managing project schedules, supporting cost estimates, participating in client meetings, and providing guidance to junior engineers and technicians to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications
- * Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) knowledge.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Engineering and Project Management skills.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and related engineering software.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Candidates should possess the ability to interpret technical standards, regulations, and building codes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications in MEP or project management are beneficial.
- Relevant experience leading mechanical work on building or infrastructure projects, preferably in MEP-focused environments.
