Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial, construction, procurement, infrastructure, transportation, consultancy, and service contracts
Provide strategic and practical legal advice to senior leadership and internal stakeholders on contractual obligations, commercial risks, claims, and major project matters
Support projects throughout the contracting lifecycle, from procurement and contract development through execution, administration, and closeout
Identify and mitigate contractual risks, including variations, performance issues, claims, and potential disputes
Ensure contracts comply with applicable Saudi laws, internal policies, governance requirements, and delegation of authority
Collaborate with Procurement, Development, Finance, and other business functions to provide timely legal support for key projects and transactions
Manage external legal counsel and ensure the quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of legal services
Develop and maintain contract templates, legal guidance, processes, and contracting best practices
Lead, mentor, and develop members of the Legal Contracting team while promoting knowledge transfer and continuous improvement
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in law, master's is preferred
Significant experience within a leading law firm, major organization, government-related entity, or large-scale development environment
Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial, construction, procurement, and infrastructure contracts
Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders on contractual risk, commercial negotiations, and strategic legal matters
Strong knowledge of contracting principles, procurement practices, corporate governance, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements
