Role OverviewWe are looking for a Nursing Specialist to provide skilled nursing care across newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations within our licensed scope. You will maintain total accountability for clinical assessments, care planning, skilled interventions, and the supervision of delegated caregiver tasks.
Key Scope & Responsibilities Clinical Assessment & Planning: Conduct baseline and ongoing patient assessments, establish individualized care plans, and revise them alongside treating physicians. * * Skilled Interventions: Perform physician-ordered procedures including medication management, wound care, catheter/ostomy care, enteral feeding support, and basic respiratory/monitoring tasks. * * Caregiver Delegation & Oversight: Guide, train, and supervise non-clinical caregivers on permitted daily living tasks while retaining full clinical accountability. * * Education & Escalation: Educate patients and families on disease management and safety; immediately recognize and escalate clinical emergencies. * * Documentation: Maintain confidential, accurate electronic records via Nurse Next the Door*.
