Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to support our buying team in selecting, sourcing, and managing products across multiple retail categories, including electronics, gadgets, lifestyle products, accessories, and entertainment. The ideal candidate will help ensure the right products are available at the right time, at competitive prices, and in line with customer demand and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in product sourcing, supplier communication, and price negotiations.
- Analyze sales performance, stock levels, and market trends to support purchasing decisions.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries with suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and product availability to minimize stock shortages and overstocking.
- Research new brands, products, and market opportunities to expand the retail assortment.
- Maintain accurate product, pricing, and supplier records in the ERP system.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and inventory teams to support product launches and promotions.
- Track supplier performance, lead times, and purchasing costs.
- Prepare regular reports on sales, stock movement, and purchasing performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in buying, procurement, merchandising, or retail operations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in consumer electronics, gadgets, and lifestyle products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple priorities.
