About the role ;
The First Line Sales Manager (FLSM) coaches, leads, develops & guides the Sales for aesthetic devices, driving improved performance and capabilities in generating demand for the brands with key accounts, pro-actively identifying business opportunities, presenting value propositions aligned to stakeholder needs and objectives, and recommending solutions to drive and develop business.
The FLSM is accountable for managing individual territories, taking ultimate responsibility for their performance, and for delivering sales results for those areas.
What you’ll do..
Key responsibilities :
Sales team leadership & performance management
- Lead, coach, and develop the field sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Translate company strategy and sales targets into clear individual territory and customer objectives.
- Conduct regular field visits with sales representatives to coach performance and improve selling skills.
- Monitor individual KPIs, productivity, call quality, conversion rates, and sales performance.
- Conduct regular one-to-one performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
- Identify capability gaps and implement appropriate training and development plans and work with HR and/or Training for appropriate training and non-training development interventions.
- Assess individual and team progress toward goals, and coach to improve, conducting quarterly check-ins
- Identify early and accelerate the development of top talent and provide appropriate development opportunities for future career progression (succession planning).
- Work with individual sales reps to establish appropriate and challenging goals for each territory.
- Make informed business decisions by analyzing decision impact, risks, and coaches Med Reps on how to make effective trade-off decisions for maximum return.
- KPI`s monitoring achievement to ensure greatest overall impact on team & company results
Sales Development
- Drive sales growth of aesthetic medical devices across assigned territories.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans based on market potential, customer segmentation, and business priorities.
- Identify new business opportunities among aesthetic clinics, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, hospitals, and medical centers/clinics.
- Develop strategies to increase device utilization, repeat purchases, consumables/accessories sales, and customer retention.
- Support the team in closing high-value and strategically important accounts.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports and business reviews.
- Analyze sales trends by territory, representative, customer, device, and product category.
- Track pipeline, conversion, lost opportunities, and reasons for non-closure.
- Identify underperforming territories/accounts and develop corrective action plans.
- Provide management with accurate market intelligence and sales forecasts
Key Account management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key physicians, clinic owners, hospital decision-makers and aesthetic centers.
- Personally manage selected strategic/key accounts.
- Understand customer business models, treatment volumes, investment plans, and competitive equipment.
- Support the sales team in negotiations, tenders, quotations, and major commercial opportunities.
- Develop account plans for high-potential customers.
Product & Clinical Excellence
- Ensure the sales team has strong knowledge of device technology, indications, treatment protocols, competitive positioning, and clinical evidence.
- Coordinate product training, workshops, demonstrations, and clinical education activities.
- Accompany sales representatives during important product demonstrations and physician meetings.
Field Execution
- Establish an effective field-visit rhythm and ensure high-quality customer coverage.
- Review daily/weekly call plans and optimize customer prioritization.
- Accompany representatives on field visits and provide structured coaching.
- Ensure effective execution of product demonstrations, workshops, congresses, and customer events.
- Continuously monitor competing aesthetic devices, technologies, pricing, launches, and commercial strategies.
- Gather feedback regarding competitor products and customer preferences.
- Identify emerging aesthetic treatment trends and potential business opportunities.
- Share relevant market intelligence with senior management.
Live Device Demonstrations & Clinic Conversion
- Lead and support live device demonstrations for key prospects.
- Convert qualified clinic opportunities into device sales.
- Identify customer needs and present the appropriate device solution.
- Handle key objections and support commercial negotiations.
- Follow up on demonstrations and track conversion to purchase.
- Ensure smooth customer onboarding and device activation.
Customer Experience & After-Sales
- Ensure customers receive appropriate onboarding and product training after purchase.
- Follow up on installations, customer satisfaction, and device utilization.
- Escalate technical or service issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and identify risks to key accounts.
Essential Requirements & Capabilities:
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy .
- Previous experience in aesthetic medical devices.
- Previous experience in a managerial position.
- Full timer and with flexibility to travel and move across Baghdad, Diyala & Anbar on regular base.
- Proven strong performance records.
- Solid leadership capabilities.
- Planning and organization skills
- Effective analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making
