About the Role
Seeking a high-performing Radio Network planning and Optimization Engineer to join our Radio team. will play a key role in planning 5G network, RAN sharing and National Roaming requirements beside optimize 4G/5G performance across Huawei and future multi-vendor RAN platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- 5G Design, prepare and implement technical requirements aimed to launch successful 5G network.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis and design requirements related to Radio part for National Roaming from End-to-End perspective on network.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis and design requirements related to RAN sharing End-to-End perspective on network.
- Evaluate and optimize 5G (NSA and future SA) to drive continuous improvement in RAN KPIs and customer experience.
- Analyze and optimize 4G/5G radio network performance using the vendor product suite to improve overall network quality and customer experience.
- KPI Management & Troubleshooting: Monitor and analyze network KPIs, identify performance degradation, bottlenecks, and interference, and implement corrective optimization actions.
- Experience on design requirement on Core Network and Transmission to ensure end-to-end solutions meet 5G network launch.
- Protocol & Call Flow Analysis: Apply a strong understanding of call flow, handover flow, mobility management, and wireless communication technologies across CS, VoLTE, and PS RAN to isolate root causes.
- Parameter & Feature Tuning: Perform deep-dive radio network troubleshooting, parameter tuning, and radio software feature implementation.
- Data Analysis & Tooling: Perform post-processing using TEMS or Nemo Tools.
- Reporting & Analytics: Prepare KPI reports, automated dashboards (Power BI/Excel), optimization analysis, and technical presentations for management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Huawei LTE/VoLTE/5G systems.
- 5G Minimum 3 years’ experience and 10years’ experience within a Mobile Network Operator, Vendor or Telecom Consultancy for 2G,3G,4G and VOLTE.
- Strong ability to design and deliver technical solutions for 5G Radio Plan and optimization.
- Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Science or equivalent.
