Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role based in Dubai. The Carpenter will perform a variety of carpentry tasks including measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials for structures, fixtures, and fittings. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings, installing framing and finish carpentry elements, and using hand and power tools safely and efficiently. The role also involves inspecting completed work for accuracy and quality, collaborating with other trades on-site, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. The Carpenter is expected to follow all company safety policies and UAE construction standards while meeting project deadlines.
Qualifications
* Strong carpentry skills, including experience with structural work and detailed woodwork.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Experience in framing work for walls, ceilings, and other structural elements.
* Skills in finish carpentry, including installation of doors, trims, cabinets, and other interior fixtures.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
* Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
* Previous experience as a Carpenter in construction or related fields, preferably in the UAE.
* Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing, and working in various site conditions.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
