We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Specialist Neurologist to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with a wide range of neurological disorders while providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with neurological conditions through detailed history, neurological examination, and appropriate investigations.
- Manage conditions including stroke, epilepsy, headache and migraine, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and other neurological disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patients' clinical progress.
- Interpret and correlate relevant investigations, including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG/NCS, and laboratory results, where applicable.
- Provide appropriate medical treatment, follow-up, and preventive neurological care.
- Refer patients for specialized investigations or multidisciplinary management when required.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and preventive measures.
- Participate in clinical quality, patient-safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Recognized specialty qualification in Neurology.
- Relevant post-specialty clinical experience in Neurology.
- Valid professional license/registration from the relevant authority, as applicable.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
