To safely operate light vehicles for the transportation of employees, clients, documents, materials, and equipment while ensuring compliance with company policies, road safety regulations, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate light duty vehicles safely and efficiently as assigned
- Transport employees, visitors, and company representatives to designated locations
- Deliver and collect documents, materials, and equipment as required
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and proper upkeep at all times
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and road safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and deliveries
- Respond professionally to customer and operational requirements
- Report accidents, incidents, or traffic violations immediately to management
- Support other operational activities as directed by the supervisor
Requirements
- * High school education or equivalent preferred
- Valid Bahrain Light Vehicle Driving License (or eligible for conversion as per company requirements)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Light Duty Driver
- Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations
- Basic English communication skills. Arabic knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to use GPS and navigation applications
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to work flexible hours when required
