Join our Accounting Advisory Services team and work alongside experienced professionals to help private enterprise clients navigate complex accounting, reporting and business challenges.
As an Assistant Manager, you will contribute to varied, high-impact engagements, build trusted client relationships and develop practical expertise across financial reporting, risk, controls and business advisory.
The role
You will execute and support multiple client engagements, applying your financial reporting and accounting knowledge to deliver practical, high-quality solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assess the impact of new International Financial Reporting Standards and help clients prepare for implementation.
- Design clear, effective standard operating procedures across business functions.
- Deliver risk advisory engagements tailored to client needs and priorities.
- Contribute to feasibility studies and business valuations that support informed decision-making.
- Assist clients with the consolidation and preparation of financial statements.
- Prepare well-researched accounting memos for complex transactions.
- Analyse the accounting implications of business reorganisations and support clients through change.
- Develop insightful, client-ready reports tailored to specific engagement requirements.
- Support the preparation of compelling proposals and presentations for prospective and existing clients.
The individual
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- A recognised professional qualification such as CPA, CA or ACCA.
- A risk management qualification would be an advantage.
- At least four years of relevant experience in advisory or corporate accounting advisory role.
- Strong technical accounting, analytical and presentation skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to apply accounting concepts to real business challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client service, relationship management and technical writing capabilities.
