The RoleWe're looking for a Customer Success Manager ready to build a career in Financial Services. Based in Sweden, you'll support our Nordic-based clients (mostly Swedish based) of Morningstar Direct, acting as their trusted advisor and main point of contact — understanding their goals, helping them get maximum value from our platform, and driving retention and growth.
You'll be part of our wider EMEA team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the region, and you'll also help shape how we deliver service globally, working closely with Product, Sales, and Support teams who'll support your growth along the way.
This role requires fluency in Swedish; Finnish language skills would be a strong advantage.
Job Responsibilities
- * Client relationship ownership — main point of contact post-sales; proactively build relationships beyond core Direct users, anticipating needs and becoming the product expert.
- Retention & growth — drive renewals, identify upsell opportunities, work with Sales on account strategy.
- Issue resolution — own and coordinate resolution of data/technical/functional issues as primary escalation point.
- Onboarding & adoption — implement onboarding, provide training, drive product adoption.
- Voice of the customer — feed client input to Product, Data, and Sales; contribute to process improvements.
- Data & product delivery — partner with global product/data teams on rollout of new capabilities and methodologies, bringing your client knowledge to ensure effective engagement.
- Product expertise - commit to continuous, in-depth learning as Morningstar Direct's capabilities and methodologies evolve, building broad expertise across the platform through ongoing training and close collaboration with Product teams
Qualifications
- * Language — fluency in Swedish (written and oral) is required; Finnish language skills would be a strong advantage.
- Communication & presentation — strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Client service & organisation — strong client service ethics, with proven organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise across projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strategic problem-solving — comfortable with ambiguity; able to think creatively and strategically, creating focus and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
- Relationship building — ability to develop strong internal and external partnerships, taking a collaborative approach and working effectively across different business and functional areas.
- Industry & market knowledge — strong knowledge of investment and competitive landscape, with an understanding of market trends impacting clients.
- Education — bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a strong academic record.

Base Salary Compensation RangeSEK 422,000.00-592,000.00
Bonus Target7.5% Annual
We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
