Role Description The Head of Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring strong financial governance across Autochim Systems. This position leads the finance team in managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow to support strategic and operational decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising the preparation of financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The Head of Finance will collaborate with senior leadership on investment decisions, risk management, and performance analysis, while optimizing financial processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy. The role also involves liaising with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders, and contributing to long-term financial strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with proven experience leading finance functions in an industrial, technology, or related business environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and interpretation for executive decision-making.
- Advanced Budgeting and financial planning skills, with the ability to manage forecasts, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Excellent Analytical Skills, including proficiency in financial modeling, variance analysis, and performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA are highly beneficial.
- Experience with ERP and financial systems, and strong MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Solid understanding of regional regulatory, tax, and compliance frameworks relevant to the UAE and MENA markets.
- Proven leadership abilities, including team management, cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication with senior stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement and ethical business practices.
