About the role
Position Title: Consultant - Reservoir Engineer
Work Location: Kuwait
Department: On-sync Energy Management Services Company.
- Develop life-of-field development and recovery strategies, including long-term depletion and production/injection planning to sustain production, maximize recovery, and extend field life.
- Design and optimize secondary recovery programs, including waterflooding, pressure maintenance, voidage replacement, injection strategy, sweep efficiency, conformance, and producer-injector interaction.
- Evaluate and mature EOR opportunities, including WAG, gas/CO₂ injection, chemical EOR, and thermal recovery, from screening and simulation through development planning.
- Define reservoir surveillance and data-acquisition requirements covering pressure, production, injection, and other relevant performance parameters.
- Analyze and integrate surveillance data to monitor reservoir performance, reduce uncertainty, and support reservoir-management and development decisions.
- Evaluate remaining reservoir potential and recovery factors and identify and mature additional development opportunities.
- Conduct reserves and resources assessment and maturation by integrating reservoir performance, development plans, and production forecasts.
- Provide technical input to support robust reserves estimation, classification, and field-development decisions.
