The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Ethics Advisor to provide expert guidance on business ethics, ethical decision-making, conflicts of interest, conduct standards, policy interpretation, speak-up matters, ethical risk, and organizational integrity.
The ideal candidate will advise employees and leadership on complex ethical issues, strengthen ethics frameworks and controls, support sensitive case management, promote a strong speak-up culture, and help embed ethical principles into everyday business decisions and organizational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- * Provide senior-level advisory support on business ethics, conduct, integrity, and ethical decision-making.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the organization's ethics framework, policies, standards, procedures, and guidance.
- Interpret applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, codes of conduct, and ethical standards.
- Translate ethical principles and regulatory expectations into practical business guidance and controls.
- Develop and maintain the Code of Conduct and supporting ethics policies.
- Establish clear guidance on expected employee and business conduct.
- Advise employees, managers, executives, and business leaders on complex ethical matters.
- Provide confidential and objective guidance on potential conflicts between business objectives, policies, and ethical considerations.
- Assess ethical risks associated with business decisions, commercial activities, partnerships, transactions, and organizational changes.
- Support the identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of ethics-related risks.
- Develop and maintain conflict-of-interest policies, procedures, declarations, and review processes.
- Review employee and management conflict-of-interest disclosures and determine appropriate escalation or mitigation requirements.
- Advise on potential conflicts involving outside activities, financial interests, relationships, gifts, hospitality, employment, and business dealings.
- Support the development and administration of gifts, entertainment, charitable contributions, sponsorship, and similar ethics controls.
- Monitor compliance with organizational standards relating to gifts, hospitality, outside interests, and personal conduct.
- Manage or support ethics advice channels through which employees can seek confidential guidance.
- Establish appropriate intake, triage, documentation, escalation, and resolution processes for ethics matters.
- Support speak-up, whistleblowing, and employee-concern programs in coordination with relevant functions.
- Review reported ethical concerns and determine appropriate routing, escalation, and handling requirements.
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Security, and other functions on sensitive matters.
- Support investigations into alleged breaches of the Code of Conduct, ethics policies, or organizational standards where appropriate.
- Maintain appropriate independence, confidentiality, objectivity, and documentation throughout ethics-related reviews.
- Assist with investigation planning, evidence assessment, interview preparation, findings documentation, and corrective actions.
- Ensure ethics cases are handled consistently, fairly, and in accordance with established procedures.
- Track ethics cases, investigations, referrals, outcomes, and corrective actions through appropriate systems.
- Identify recurring ethical issues, behavioral patterns, control weaknesses, and emerging conduct risks.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of ethics incidents and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
- Develop ethics risk indicators, dashboards, management information, and trend analysis.
- Monitor ethics-related trends across business units, functions, geographies, employee populations, and operational activities.
- Conduct periodic ethics risk assessments and identify areas requiring enhanced controls or targeted intervention.
- Support organizational risk assessments involving culture, conduct, integrity, conflicts of interest, and employee behavior.
- Review business processes and controls to identify opportunities to strengthen ethical decision-making.
- Embed ethics considerations into policies, procedures, governance processes, and business decision frameworks.
- Partner with Human Resources on employee conduct, workplace behavior, disciplinary matters, and culture-related issues where appropriate.
- Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams on regulatory and ethical requirements affecting business conduct.
- Support Procurement and Commercial teams in managing ethical risks associated with suppliers, contractors, agents, intermediaries, and business partners.
- Provide ethics guidance for third-party relationships, due diligence, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring.
- Support assessment of ethical risks associated with high-risk markets, business activities, intermediaries, and commercial arrangements.
- Develop ethics guidance for senior executives, managers, and employees operating in complex or sensitive environments.
- Design and deliver ethics training, awareness programs, workshops, and communications.
- Develop practical case studies and scenario-based training covering real-world ethical dilemmas.
- Provide targeted ethics training for higher-risk functions and employee groups.
- Promote awareness of the Code of Conduct and organizational ethics standards.
- Develop communications campaigns that reinforce integrity, accountability, transparency, and responsible decision-making.
- Maintain accessible ethics resources, FAQs, guidance notes, decision tools, and advisory materials.
- Support leadership in establishing clear ethical expectations and demonstrating appropriate tone from the top.

Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate should have strong experience in business ethics, ethics and compliance, corporate integrity, conduct risk, compliance advisory, investigations, governance, or organizational ethics, preferably within financial services, technology, professional services, energy, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, or other complex international environments.
The candidate should demonstrate:
- Proven experience providing senior-level ethics and conduct advisory services.

- Experience developing and implementing ethics frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
