Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Driver role based in Doha. The Driver is responsible for safely operating trucks, following assigned routes, and delivering goods on schedule. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vehicles before and after trips, maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of the truck, and complying with all traffic and safety regulations. The role involves completing delivery documentation, coordinating with dispatch or supervisors, and communicating clearly with customers and team members. The Driver is also expected to report any mechanical issues, follow company policies, and support safe loading and unloading procedures.
Qualifications
* Strong truck driving skills with experience operating commercial vehicles and handling a truck safely in various conditions.
* Valid CDL Class A or equivalent heavy vehicle license, with a clean driving record and knowledge of relevant traffic regulations.
* Effective communication skills for interacting with dispatch, supervisors, and customers, including basic written documentation.
* Customer service skills to represent the company professionally, handle inquiries politely, and support a positive client experience.
* Ability to work on-site in Doha, follow schedules reliably, and adapt to changing routes or delivery priorities.
* Basic mechanical awareness to perform routine vehicle checks and identify issues that require maintenance.
* Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading as needed, and to work extended hours when required.
* Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or commercial driving in the region is an advantage.
