Social Media Marketing Specialist
Occasis is a growing 360° marketing agency based in Erbil, helping businesses build their brands, reach the right audience, and grow through creative content, social media, advertising, and strategic marketing.
We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist who combines creativity with marketing thinking and can take ownership of social media for our company and clients.
What you’ll do
Develop and manage social media strategies for the company and clients
Create engaging Reels, videos, posts, stories, and other social media content
Appear on camera and create on-camera content for the company and clients
Develop content ideas, concepts, hooks, scripts, captions, and campaigns
Write engaging social media content and copy for client brands
Manage social media accounts and content calendars
Research trends, competitors, audiences, and new content opportunities
Support and manage social media advertising campaigns
Analyze content and campaign performance and optimize accordingly
Participate in client content shoots and create on-site content
Stay up to date with social media trends, platforms, formats, and algorithms
Work closely with the creative, marketing, and business development teams
What we’re looking for
Experience in social media management and marketing
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social platforms
Strong creative thinking and content creation skills
Comfortable and confident appearing on camera
Strong content writing and copywriting skills
Good understanding of digital marketing and social media advertising
Ability to create engaging short-form video content
Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools is a plus
Meta Ads experience is a strong plus
Important
Content creation and on-camera participation are mandatory parts of this role.
This is not a role focused only on posting and managing accounts. You’ll be expected to create content, appear in videos, write content and copy for clients, participate in shoots, follow trends, and turn ideas into content that gets attention and drives action.
